My uncle, Harry Vest, served with HQ Co., 3BN, , 502 Abn Inf Rgt from 20 Sep – 26 Sep 1950, then L Co.as a Basic Training Instructor until the end of August 1951 when he was shipped out to Japan and then Korea as a replacement where he ended up with L Co, 35th Inf Rgt, 25th Inf Div.  Source: nephew Chris Vest.
