A bygone neighborhood
A Street, B Street, C Street, D Street, E Street and F Street, bordered by Michigan Avenue, Hubbard and Vinewood.

Immigrants of this small neighborhood in Southwest Detroit yearned for a better life in these homes and on these streets. They accomplished it with grit, sheer will and determination.
In the late 1970’s, early 1980’s most of this neighborhood was demolished for industry.
Yet it is not forgotten.
Due to the popularity of genealogy, photos of this area are sought.
